Hiya Friend! Welcome to the July (practically August) Handlender Connection newsletter! I definitely planned to send this out much earlier, but I’m operating on a two-week delay for just about everything in life right now. In my defense, it is 2020, and Murphy’s Law is trying to rear its ugly head. So I get a pass for the entire year. Don’t worry - you do too. Anyway, I’ve got some exciting news to share! Handlender Updates
When we receive an urgent request, a notification will be sent to your entire community so you can get the help you need, really fast. Be sure to only use this option when your need is truly urgent, because, well… we’ve all read the story, “The Boy Who Cried Wolf.” 3. We’ve launched TWO new marketing videos to encourage organizations and potential members to join Handlender! (Woo-hoo! A little more "pep" anyone?) Take a peek and let us know what you think. Then, share them with everyone you know!
4. We're making Progress on the Process! Remember those behind-the-scenes processes that we were working on? Well, we’re making some really good progress on that too. It’s a lot of work, but well worth the effort when all is said and done –especially for the team processing the requests! I’ll be sure to let you know when it’s up and running! 'Til Next Time That’s all for now, friends. I'm afraid if I add any more updates to this newsletter, it will for sure become an August newsletter! To all of our members, we're here for you! If you need help, you can always request a hand! As always, thank you for being a part of the Handlender network! P.s. Handlender is searching for additional team members as we continue our efforts to expand Handlender locally and across the nation. Think you’ve got what it takes? Contact us! Hiya Friend, June 2020's Handlender Connection is here (granted, a little late), and we're keeping it short and simple! I hope you’re doing well and making the most out of life regardless of all that is going on in the world today. Speaking of the world, I recently read a Twitter post where someone likened living in today’s times to experiencing the Civil War, Spanish Flu, Great Depression, Civil Rights Movement, Watergate, and the Dustbowl---all at once! Sounds about right, eh? I couldn't help but laugh. Anyway, whether you’re livin’ it up in your PJ’s everyday, or making moves like never before, we’ve all got something to be thankful for. And we, at Handlender, have a lot of gratitude in our hearts for our supporters, members, and networks that keep us moving along when things aren’t going and growing as fast as we’d like. STAY TUNED! Handlender Updates... I’d love to tell you that I have some major updates this month, but all of our “works” are still in progress, so there’s not a ton to share. I suppose that can be expected with any new business, right? On the upside, we’ve made a few more connections with local leaders and members of organizations who have, in turn, shared information about Handlender with others in their networks. Our meetings have also sparked a few new ideas as we continue settling into our niche. On top of that, we've connected with a group of individuals who were kind enough to donate their time to making some of the “behind the scenes” processes run a whole lot smoother. The work they’re doing will help us manage and process your requests faster, and make it easier for you to lend a hand to other members. They’ve shared a proof of concept with me, and it looks promising! MEMBER ZONE!How are you holding up? Need anything? (Food? Transportation? Temporary Housing? Something else?) Let us know by submitting a request! PSSST! NON-MEMBERS! If you need a hand, you can register right now! It takes less than a minute! 'Til Next Time
That’s all for now, friends. I told ya we’d keep it short and simple. I’m grateful for your continued support as we navigate growth unto success. I hope Handlender is proving to be a useful platform for you and your organization. If there are ways in which we can help even more, please let us know. After all, our entire mission is centered on lending a hand. As always, thank you for being a part of the Handlender network! |
