Handlender is actively seeking a Marketing Lead to play a pivotal role in maintaining overall awareness of our mission. Qualifications

• Passion for Impact: Demonstrated passion for making a positive social impact, with a commitment to contributing to mission-driven organizations and enhancing the lives of others.
• Digital Marketing Enthusiast: Interest and proven engagement in researching best practices and staying updated on trends in digital marketing.
• Creative Audience Builder: Creative mindset with a genuine interest in learning and implementing strategies for building and converting digital audiences.
• Project Management Skills: Proven experience in effectively managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring successful execution within specified timelines.
• Communication Proficiency: Effective and efficient communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
• MS Office Proficiency: Proficient in MS Office, specifically in copywriting and copyediting, ensuring the creation of clear, compelling, and consistent messaging.
• Intuitive Decision-Maker: Demonstrated ability to use a combination of data and intuition to inform decisions, showcasing a strategic and intuitive approach to problem-solving.
• Preferred Skills (Not Required): Proficiency in MailChimp, Graphic Design, and Social Media software is preferred but not mandatory. Additional skills in these areas would be considered a valuable asset.

 
Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the team, bringing fresh ideas for design and content creation based on your expertise and keen eye for exceptional design.
• Create and adapt templates and shareable content tailored to specific markets, strategically disseminating Handlender's brand and content across social media and other channels.
• Monitor and actively engage in pertinent social discussions surrounding our company, competitors, and the industry, ensuring our active participation in relevant conversations.
• Represent Handlender authentically across social media, at events, and in printed materials, including the thoughtful use of Handlender attire if provided.
• Conduct comprehensive competitive research to comprehend market dynamics, incorporating findings into strategic marketing initiatives.
• Identify innovative methods to engage and discover new pilot and paid networks for Handlender, contributing to the expansion of our customer base.
• Attend social networking and sales events, capturing high-quality photographs and videos for future marketing use.
• Regularly attend meetings with leadership to discuss Handlender's roadmap, ongoing projects, tasks, and status updates.
• Research and implement content automation and creation tools, optimizing efficiency in content development processes.
• Serve as the marketing point of contact, scheduling and attending relevant meetings with prospective customers as needed.
• Create, modify, organize, and manage Handlender swag, paraphernalia, and other marketing materials, including welcome boxes.
• Provide valuable input on Handlender's website, forms, and integrated platforms, ensuring a cohesive and user-friendly online presence.
• Undertake various marketing and role-related duties as necessary, showcasing adaptability and versatility in contributing to the team's success.

TECHNICAL LEAD

We are looking for a Technical Lead who is not only adept at ensuring the functionality and security of our platform but is also deeply committed to our mission of helping others. The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing platform changes, maintaining website security and functionality, managing third-party integrations, and effectively leading our development team. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, communication skills, and a passion for social impact.
 
Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Technical Lead or similar role.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a development team.
• Proficiency in collaborative teamwork or independent work, demonstrating efficiency in both approaches.

• Preferred: Familiarity with Control Plane, Twilio, website maintenance and hosting, and similar technologies.
• Preferred: Technical proficiency in relevant technologies, languages, and frameworks.

 
Responsibilities:

• Oversee & manage collaboration with current development team regarding platform changes & integrations, ensuring alignment with our mission and vision.
• Drive the development and enhancement of the platform to meet the evolving needs of our user community.
• Perform thorough functionality and validation testing to optimize the user experience, particularly after updates, new feature implementations, and changes.
• Clearly communicate technical challenges, solutions, and progress to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Offer technical insights for version upgrades and feature implementation, guiding the team toward effective resolutions when issues arise.
• Create wireframes for current and future platform development based on our technical roadmap.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices, infusing innovation into our platform to remain at the forefront of altruistic technology. 
• Ensure the security and reliability of the platform, maintaining high standards of data protection and user trust.
• Additional technical duties as necessary.

A Note on Compensation

As we are in the early stages of growth, immediate compensation and health benefits are not available. However, we are open to negotiating equity for the right candidate who shares our passion and commitment to our mission.
